Gokusen Short Pre-30 kisses, fits into the end of Drama episode 10. MK! Shin x Yankumi, of course! (I suppose you could call this the Act 0 of my 30_kisses! Ha! I'm such a geeeeek.) The mood was good, walking away from the prep school, Shin on one side of her, Uchi on the other and Minami, Kuma and Noda along for the ride. Yankumi's shoulders felt light, and she couldn't stop grinning. These were her students, and she'd stick by them until the end! "Naa, Yuankumi," Kuma stopped walking, and they turned to look at him. "What about your Omiai?" He looked worried for some reason, and the others had tinges of that in their expressions. "Oh? That stupid guy. Of course I turned him down! The things he said about my precious studentsÉ" The relief was evident on all of them except Shin. "Eh?" "You just saw him! That guy back there!" "You went to an omiai with a loser like him? I can't believe I didn't recognize him!" Uchi looked a little grossed out, and while her original impression of the other teacher had been that he was clean-cut and harmless looking, she had to agree with her students now. "I know, what a waste of my kimono!" She struck a pose she had seen in that same magazine that had her horoscope and flashed her best smile. "Well at least you guys got to see my true beauty!" They groaned and walked past her, laughing a little. "Ha ha, Yankumi, you're the only one who'd show up in that Kimono!" "Hey! That's the only kimono I own! What's wrong with it?!" "A man," Minami said, leaning on her shoulder, "wants a woman who looks sweet, not like a Yakuza Ojou." Shin coughed behind her and Kumiko frowned. "Does it really look that way?" Come to think of it, when she had come home that night Tetsu had asked her if she had been to a fight. "No way, I was so cute!" "Your yakuza-obsession is warping your fashion sense," Noda rolled his eyes. "Trust me." "No way, he totally fell for me! Hey, take it back! Hey!" Dinner with Shinohara had exhausted her. She had kept careful check of her accent, smiled beautifully and routinely scanned the bar for any sign of her students who, while wonderful, apparently liked to spy on her romantic escapades. She laughed a little at that, stretching her arms over her head on the way home. Finally, Yamaguchi Kumiko had romantic escapades! Yes! "It was just dinner." What was Sawada doing here on her way home? "Sawada?" He shrugged and fell into step next to her. "It's weird to laugh to yourself." She stuck her tongue out at him, then brightened. "Hey, give me your honest opinion! Did the kimono look that bad? Maybe I should get another one. What do you think?" He was looking away for some reason, silent. "ÉIt was okay." "Eh? A compliment from Sawada Shin? That means I was a knock-out, right? Right?" He scowled at her. "Don't be so happy to have that effect on that loser!" She laughed. "I'm not, I'm not!" Honestly, he was so grumpy. "Every girl wants to know she looks good on occasion!" He was looking at her strangely, paused and said, "Don't dress up too often," with another scowl before turning the corner away from her. "What? Oi, Sawada! Tell me what you meant!" He waved loosely over his shoulder before turning another corner and she blew out a breath. He was so hard to read sometimes.
